Carolyne Miller Abdullah is a program director for the Study Circles Resource Center, which provides technical assistance to neighborhoods and communities seeking democratic ways of addressing local political and social issues. Previously, she designed an after-school program in a Montgomery County, Md., elementary school titled the Self-Esteem Educational (SEE) Program for African Americans. Carolyne holds a degree in Political Science from Alcorn State University, a Master of Political Science from Iowa State University, and a Master of Public Administration from Penn State University. She is currently writing her doctoral dissertation on public policy from the University of Connecticut.
