William Romero is a Research Analyst at Justice Matters; he conducts educational policy research from a racial and social justice lens and also does community outreach in the districts Justice Matters works in. Prior to working with Justice Matters he worked as an educator and secondary school teacher in both his home community as well as other low-income communities of color. In his spare time he volunteers with CISPES (Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador) to raise consciousness about the political and social situation of his family's homeland. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley.
