Jennifer Allen is the Executive Director and a founder of the Border Action Network, a membership-based organization formed in 1999 to work with southern Arizona’s immigrant and border communities to ensure that their rights are respected, human dignity upheld and health maintained. They have built relationships and launched campaigns resulting in the prosecution of border vigilantes, agreements with local police departments against enforcing immigration law, training and engaging immigrant families in the political process and the struggle for comprehensive immigration reform, and developing protocols for border enforcement practices that uphold constitutional and human rights.
