Jackie Byers is the Program and Training Director for the Center For Third World Organizing (CTWO). CTWO is a national racial justice organization based in Oakland, California that trains and develops organizers across the country, provides support to grass-roots organizations and develops organizing campaigns that support racial and economic justice. CTWO runs the Movement Activist Apprenticeship Program, which has trained new organizers of color since 1986. Previously, Jackie worked as a consultant supporting community-based organizations in her home state of Minnesota.
