Ilana Berger, Co-Director and Co-Founder of Families United for Racial and Economic Equality (FUREE), a multi-racial, women-led membership organization uniting low-income people around economic justice issues. Ilana has nine years of organizing experience including working as a precinct organizer in Oakland, California against the anti-affirmative action Proposition 209 and as Lead Organizer with People Organized to Win Employment Rights in San Francisco.
