Ibrahim Abdul-Matin connects social justice youth, youth workers and their supporters. Since 2001 he has helped to complete the Future 500: Youth Organizing and Activism in the United States, and the accompanying searchable online directory. He was the Director of Youth Programs at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park and in 2004 he became the Organizer Technologist at the Movement Strategy Center where he has guided the development of Web 2.0 social change projects: Future5000.com (a more comprehensive rebirth of the Future 500) andMyBloc.net, a social networking platform to network the youth movement. He is also the Hardknock Radio Sports correspondent, a freelance journalist, and a Brooklyn native working on a novel and book of poetry.
