Eve Baron, Ph.D. is the Director of the Planning Center at the Municipal Art Society. She acts as project manager for the Livable Neighborhoods Program-a toolkit and training package for community planners; the Manufacturing and Land Use Zoning Initiative; and the Planning Center's technical assistance projects. For the last three years she has been helping to spearhead a citywide, coalition-driven initiative to democratize planning and development decisions in new York: the campaign for Community-BaFadsed Planning. She serves on Manhattan Borough President Stringer's Community Board Reform and Empowerment Task Force, and on the editorial board of Progressive Planning Magazine. Eve is also a Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute.
